OK so recently my step-mother, who has basically been my mother since I was little, has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer--she should be alright. Anyway, as you all know I am an avid Ralph Lauren connoisseur and my man Ralph has started the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Campaign. Pink Pony is Ralph Lauren’s worldwide initiative in the fight against breast cancer, with particular focus on medically under-served communities. Though the pieces are promoted during Breast Cancer Awareness month, they are by no means exclusive to a particular time of year. Ralph Lauren and his family has begun a very important endeavor with the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer and Prevention in Harlem on track to serve over 16,000 people this year, who may have otherwise slipped through the cracks.
"With a focus on breast cancer, Pink Pony supports programs for early diagnosis, education, treatment and research and is dedicated to bringing patient navigation and quality cancer care to medically underserved communities.
